Not in the mood for glaze fuss?

Developing glazes is a skill. It requires time, testing, knowledge of raw materials, and a healthy dose of curiosity. I can get completely absorbed in the search for the perfect color, gloss, or texture.

But perhaps you'd much rather have your hands in clay and prefer to stay far away from glaze chemistry. Don't feel like buying dozens of raw materials, weighing everything out, and doing endless testing? No problem, I'll take care of it for you.

Flexible

The SOGO glaze powders can be made both brushable and dippable. The choice is yours.

Cheaper

What ceramists say

“I'm a really big fan of your glazes! I use Stella’s Eyes, Lagoon, and Pacific Blue for almost everything I make.

– Maartje (bergen met SANT. •keramiek)

“As a beginner , my focus is primarily on the potter's wheel. Developing and mixing my own glazes is something I'm not getting into for now. That's precisely why it's so great to be able to work with SOGO glazes. They are particularly user-friendly and remarkably consistent, which really makes a difference for me."

– Laurien De Cupere

“I'm completely in love, with Primeval Forest to be precise. My glaze palette has now expanded to Snakeskin and Lion's Mane, and I'm making more ceramics than is good for me because I've become addicted to glaze. The booklet and tile that come with the glazes are a nice reference and help you consistently achieve beautiful results.”

I am Sofie

As a former scientist and full-time ceramist, I've been developing glazes since 2016. What started as a hobby in my small basement studio has grown into a passion that I've fully immersed myself in.

In 2024, I wrote the glaze book "Glazes uncovered" of which more than 2500 copies have now been sold.

Today, I design and produce stoneware powder glazes for ceramists. Glazes are my craft, my passion, and my daily work.
